Position: Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, or ASW)
Specializing in Services for Clients with Complex Needs
Citrus Counseling Services (CCS) is seeking a compassionate Associate Therapist to join our Victorville office. This role focuses on providing individual therapy to clients with complex or intensive clinical needs. The therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual therapy to clients with complex clinical needs.
  • Create and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation consistent with county contract requirements.
  • Manage higher-acuity caseloads with a focus on stabilization, functional improvement, and community integration.
  • Participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate client care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and community outreach events.
  • Contribute to the mission and goals of CCS through your clinical and organizational contributions.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health discipline.
  • Registered as an AMFT, ASW, APCC and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Experience in community mental health, county-contracted programs, intensive outpatient settings or with clients who have complex or intensive behavioral health needs.
  • Proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and knowledgeable in clinical documentation standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable.
