Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Goshen, Indiana (Fully Onsite)
Pay Range: $25–$35 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Goshen, Indiana. This role is ideal for a disciplined accounting professional who thrives in a high-volume, multi-entity environment and has hands-on experience managing foreign exchange and international AP transactions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a laid-back and collaborative office culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process high-volume accounts payable transactions across multiple entities accurately and efficiently
  • Manage domestic and international vendor payments, including foreign exchange transactions and currency conversions
  • Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
  • Assist with month-end close activities, accruals, and reporting support
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and invoice inquiries
  • Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely disbursements and avoid late fees
  • Support process improvements and maintain organized AP documentation
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of Accounts Payable experience required
