The Director of Enrollment Analytics plays a critical role in shaping the university's enrollment strategy through data-informed decision making and strategic analysis. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting enrollment data to identify trends and insights that support recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and retention strategies.
Working collaboratively with Enrollment Systems, Admissions, Marketing, and Institutional Research, the Director will help optimize outreach efforts, forecast enrollment trends, assess recruitment effectiveness, and support institutional planning initiatives. This role also supervises an analyst and fosters a collaborative, forward-thinking, and mission-oriented culture. Familiarity with Technolutions Slate or similar CRM platforms used in enrollment management is strongly preferred. This position is preferred to be in person at our Campus but fully-remote work is an option.
Key Responsibilities:
Enrollment Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate and refine weekly enrollment reports and dashboards tracking key performance indicators across the admissions funnel.
  • Analyze recruitment, application, admission, and enrollment trends to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop reports and presentations for university leadership, cabinet members, and the Board of Trustees.
  • Produce ad-hoc analyses and reporting to support time-sensitive decisions and emerging enrollment priorities.
  • Support enrollment forecasting and projection modeling for strategic planning and budgeting purposes.

Data Integrity
  • Oversee data uploads and integrations from vendors and external partners, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Partner closely with Enrollment Systems to maintain data integrity across Slate CRM and student information systems.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Research and campus partners to align reporting standards, data governance practices, and census reporting.

Strategic Enrollment Support
  • Support the development and assessment of recruitment and communication strategies through data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with enrollment communication initiatives by providing audience segmentation, list management, and campaign reporting.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support to undergraduate, graduate, and professional enrollment teams.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for enrollment-related data partnerships and external reporting needs.
  • Support other data needs as assigned.

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Supervise and mentor an analyst, including work prioritization, professional development, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture focused on collaboration, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in enrollment leadership meetings and strategic planning discussions.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Enrollment Management, Marketing, Financial Aid, Institutional Research, and Information Technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Higher Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or enrollment analytics.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using business intelligence or reporting tools.
  • Experience working within a CRM environment, preferably Technolutions Slate.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in higher education admissions, enrollment management, or institutional research.
  • Experience writing and optimizing queries.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, or statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with enrollment marketing and recruitment strategy assessment.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring professional staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify strategic insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong collaborative relationships across departments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

To ensure consideration, interested applicants must submit a cover letter and resume on Xavier University's website. Review of applications will start on June 1, 2026 and will be accepted until the position closes at the University's discretion.
