Job Description:
  • Oversee daily standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rides, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Enforce company guidelines on uniform, grooming, and attendance policies to maintain a professional atmosphere.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with departmental managers, coordinators, supervisors, and ride operators.
  • Assist in training and motivation of the ride operators' team members, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Supervise ride operators in testing equipment, enforcing safety procedures, assisting guests, and maintaining ride cleanliness.
  • Coordinate with Operations Management to address team members' concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure neat and orderly queue lines and efficient load/unload times to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth park operations and seamless guest experiences.
  • Review operators' work, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback and assistance as needed.
  • Work with management to achieve critical success factors for the park, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Monitor staff performance, facility cleanliness, and safety conditions, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
  • Respond to customer service needs promptly and empathetically, resolving concerns to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct employee audits and record disciplinary action as needed, demonstrating fairness and consistency.
  • Instruct new employees on park protocol and procedures, facilitating their integration into the team.
  • Promote teamwork among all park team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide an overview of day-to-day responsibilities in Ride Operations, ensuring clarity and alignment among team members.

Requirements
  • A minimum of one-year prior experience managing a minimum of 10 people or more.
  • Amusement park experience (highly preferred).
  • Must be able to communicate and understand the English language.
  • Ability to lift, stand, stoop, walk, bend, and reach comfortably throughout the shift.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrate effective analytical skills with a keen ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to engage with guests and create a positive, memorable experience.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change when necessary.
  • Flexibility to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
