Equal parts advisor and operating partner, Amazon's team of Business Coaches assist and guide our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business owners as they build and grow successful last mile package delivery businesses.
The Senior Business Coach (BC) helps Amazon improve the flexibility and quality of its delivery network in the Americas-to help fuel a $4B investment in rural communities bringing even faster delivery to our millions of customers in less densely populated areas. This role's primary focus is supporting DSP operations across the broader Americas delivery network, with particular emphasis on rural market expansion and mature-state optimization.

Specifically, BCs support DSPs in making business decisions that enable them to build healthy, sustainable businesses. As trusted advisors, Business Coaches work alongside DSPs, supporting business planning and strategy and helping owners address business and operational challenges.
What You'll Do
As Senior Business Coach (BC), you will manage a portfolio of Delivery Service Partner (DSP) owners within the Amazon delivery network. With the evolution of delivery modes and rural expansion planned for 2026, and continued strategic expansion into 2027, this role is integral to our program's evolution

Sr. BCs provide strategic guidance to DSP owners throughout their business life-cycle of their relationship with Amazon-from pre-launch preparation through mature-state optimization. You will facilitate solution-oriented approaches to remove business obstacles and drive continuous improvement in financial performance, operational efficiency, and safety standards across the network.

The position requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including operations managers, program directors, compliance officers, legal counsel, and finance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, strategic problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement data-driven recommendations that create meaningful change both internally and externally.
Key Activities & Accountabilities of a Senior BC:
Operational Excellence & Financial Advisory
Lead DSP owners through critical business phases including launch, operational scaling, and seasonal demand optimization
Provide comprehensive consultation on financial management and operational optimization
Support development of scalable business processes to ensure consistent performance metrics
Navigate program evolution by helping owners implement and adapt to strategic changes within traditional DSP operations, including new service types and offerings such as rural delivery expansion and delivery capabilities
Conduct data-driven business reviews, delivering performance insights and competitive benchmarking analysis
Business Development & Program Management
Evaluate and interview potential candidates for the DSP program, ensuring alignment with program standards and objectives
Guide strategic planning and execution of network capacity management
Stakeholder Engagement & Program Enhancement
Foster strong DSP community engagement through coordination of local events and regional initiatives
Build and maintain productive relationships with regional stakeholders
Identify operational inefficiencies and champion process improvements across the network
Design and implement solutions to enhance overall program effectiveness and DSP owner experience
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and primary account manager, combining strategic insight with practical business acumen to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence across the DSP network.

Location & Travel Requirements
Position is headquartered at our Chicago Hub
Work arrangement includes structured mix of office presence, field travel, and remote work days. One week per month is dedicated to in-office collaboration at respective/team's Hub

Significant field engagement is required: minimum 3 days per week of travel for 3 weeks monthly to support portfolio of delivery service partners
Must be comfortable with regular travel and maintaining a flexible schedule
