The Amazon Business Nonprofit team is committed to helping charitable organizations and faith-based institutions to advance their missions and save time and money by purchasing supplies through an Amazon Business account.
Account Representatives are responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with the most impactful nonprofit customers in our communities. They balance their time discovering and onboarding net new business customers, in addition to expanding and enhancing the Amazon Business footprint with existing customers. The candidate will collaborate closely with customers to understand their procurement requirements and challenges, and then coordinate with internal Amazon teams to determine the best solution to address the organization's needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling into the C-Suite level across functional areas such as procurement, finance, operations and IT, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Key job responsibilities
• Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities through outbound call programs
• Conduct in-depth discovery calls to uncover opportunities across various stages of the customer lifecycle (new business, and spend adoption)
• Leverage marketing campaigns to drive new account registration and conversions
• Present account demonstrations unique to each customer and prospect's needs
• Meet or exceed targets for customer acquisition and customer spend adoption
• Educate and network with key prospect and customer contacts at various stages of the sales cycle
• Communicate customer and market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams to further drive customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders to improve execution and results.
About the team
The AB Nonprofit (NP) Team supports purchasing and supply needs for nonprofit organizations, driving cost savings that enable them to re-invest in their mission. We work with Executive Directors, Chief Financial Officers, Program Managers and Purchasers to solve challenges among Community-Based, Cause-Based, Faith-Based and Philanthropy sub-vertical customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of inside sales experience
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
