Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
Amazon Leo are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to own audience management, segmentation, and activation across Amazon Leo's global marketing engine

This role is the primary owner of audience management and systems, managing access, governance standards, and seamless activation across channels. You will enable Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to reach the right customers with the right messages at the right time.
This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on administration. You will own and evolve audience management systems-primarily our Customer Data (Treasure Data)-and across our marketing tech stack, building upon existing foundations as new data sources, channels, and use cases emerge

You will design and maintain audience infrastructure, activation workflows, and governance standards, partnering with Marketing Operations, cross-functional marketing teams, Business Intelligence Engineers, and Marketing Automation teams to ensure accurate, actionable audiences across the full customer journey. As Amazon Leo's marketing expands globally, you will evolve audience capabilities to support new markets, channels, and customer segments, while managing health, roadmap prioritization, and scalability requirements.
Key job responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end audience management strategy for Amazon Leo marketing across B2B, B2C, and B2G customer segments
* Serve as the primary administrator and expert for the Amazon Leo Customer Data (Treasure Data), including data model design, identity resolution strategies, audience activation workflows, and optimization
* Build self-service audience segmentation capabilities and empower marketing teams to independently create and activate audiences through training, documentation, and scalable processes
* Design and maintain audience taxonomy, naming conventions, and governance standards while ensuring data quality and privacy compliance
* Translate complex marketing campaign requirements into technical audience definitions, segmentation logic, and activation workflows across marketing automation (Braze, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager)
* Create comprehensive documentation, deliver training sessions, and build enablement resources that reduce dependency on technical teams for routine audience creation
* Own the audience management roadmap, prioritizing feature requests and enhancements in partnership with Marketing, Data Engineering, and Product teams
* Monitor audience performance metrics, conduct deep-dive analysis, and provide recommendations for optimization and refinement
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S

permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
A day in the life
You will spend part of your day improving the audience management architecture-designing better segments, refining activation workflows, and enabling new use cases in the CDP and marketing automation. Another part of your day will involve partnering with Marketing teams to translate campaign requirements into audience definitions or troubleshoot activation issues

You will also work directly with Data Engineering and BI teams to validate data quality and ensure measurement accuracy. You might conduct a training session for new marketing team members on audience segmentation best practices, or update documentation to reflect new capabilities. You will be a strategic and technical owner ensuring that Amazon Leo Marketing can reach the right audiences with precision and scale.
About the team
The Amazon Leo Marketing team is responsible for building a world-class brand and driving global demand for a transformational connectivity service

The Marketing Ops & Analytics team builds the systems, data flows, measurements, and insights that support a multi-LOB global business. We operate with the agility of a startup inside Amazon, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Science, and global marketing teams to ensure our decisions are grounded in high-quality data.
