Job description

The Inspector Logistics Specialistis responsible forcoordinating and overseeing the company's property inspection operations across multiple markets. This position ensures inspections are scheduled efficiently, completed on time, reviewed for quality and accuracy, and communicated effectively between inspectors and internal departments. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection Coordination

  • Schedule and assign inspection requests to W-2 and contractor inspectors.
  • Balance workloads to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
  • Monitor inspection deadlines and ensuretimelycompletion.
  • Reassign inspections as needed due to availability, weather, or priority changes.

Quality Control

  • Review 100% ofsubmittedinspection reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify photos, narratives, occupancy status, lockbox information, and required documentation.
  • Identifyinspection errors and providetimelyfeedback to inspectors.
  • Ensure inspection reports meet company standards before completion.

Contractor & Inspector Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field inspectors.
  • Answer questionsregardingassignments and inspection procedures.
  • Onboarding and training new inspectors.
  • Monitor inspector performance and communicate recurring issues to management.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with field personnel.

Operational Support

  • Review quality control logs and address deficiencies.
  • Monitor recurring inspection schedules to ensure portfolio compliance.
  • Assistwith routing strategies and workload forecasting.
  • Coordinate priority inspections for acquisitions, sales, legal matters, and emergency situations.
  • Support post-disaster inspection efforts when necessary.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintainaccurateinspection records.
  • Track inspectioncompletionmetrics.
  • Prepare reports related toinspectionperformance and progress.
  • Assistwith process improvements and workflow documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft.
  • Ability to quickly learn company software systems.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Previouslogistics, dispatching, scheduling, or operations experience.
