General Neurologist at Altru Hospital and Clinic in Grand Forks, ND

Altru Health System is located in North Dakota and Minnesota. For more information, please contact Ashley Tomblin. We are seeking a board certified/board eligible General Neurologist to join our multi-specialty health system.

Position: General Neurologist at Altru Hospital and Clinic 

Our Neurology team at Altru Hospital and Clinic is comprised of and known for: 

  • 350+ Altru physicians and advanced practice providers and our Neurology team consists of 
    • 2 neurologists 
    • 1 neurosurgeon 
    • 1 pediatric neurologist  
    • 3 neurology APPs 
    • 1 neurosurgery APP
  • Call: Yes, additional pager fee provided while on call 
    • Call schedule: 1:3 
    • Type of call: home call with hospital roundings as needed
  • Average patients/day: 15-20
  • New patients are 30-min appointments and rechecks are 15-min. 
  • Procedures required: EEG 
  • Procedures optional: EMG and Sleep reads 
  • Equipment available: 24/7 tele-stroke coverage for all acute stroke codes both in the EOD and inpatient units 
  • Voice dictation available: Yes, Dragon 
  • EMR: Epic 

Requirements: 

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology 
  • Licensed MD/DO in ND and MN
