Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Owns the end-to-end design, development, and execution of complex predictive modeling initiatives, from problem formulation through validation, deployment readiness, and ongoing risk assessment.
  • Leads and executes deep dive diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support data-driven business decision making. Creates alternative model approaches to assess complex model design and advance future capabilities. Mentors and develops junior data scientists and analysts.
  • Establishes and enforces data quality standards for modeling use, including diagnosing data issues, documenting assumptions and limitations, and filling data gaps in ways that balance rigor, practicality, and risk.
  • Partners with senior leadership to understand and probe business processes in order to develop hypotheses. Brings structure to requests and translates requirements into an analytic approach.
  • Guides research design, model evaluation, validation, and monitoring strategies, providing expert judgment on model performance, stability, and appropriate use. Serves as a trusted technical voice on cross-functional initiatives involving advanced analytics or machine learning.
  • Builds reusable tools, frameworks, and shared resources that improve modeling efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the predictive and analytics community.
  • Prepares and delivers clear, insightful presentations with recommended actions. Communicates complex analytical findings and implications to business leaders.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience in data science or analytical roles. Strong experience utilizing statistical and machine learning methods required. Experience with large language models, knowledge graph and generative AI required.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Proficiency in cloud platform (such as AWS) and associated AI services and tools.
  • Strong stakeholder Management and excellent communication skills.
