Compensation

Base Salary: $40,000-$50,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
In addition to your base salary, you'll get:

What You'll Do

As a Sales Representative, you'll build relationships, develop new business, and help commercial and residential customers protect what matters most.


Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of commercial and residential prospects.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations.
  • Conduct on-site consultations to evaluate customer needs and recommend customized security solutions.
  • Develop and present quotes, proposals, and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms while maintaining profitability.
  • Educate customers on alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, fire detection, and other security solutions.
  • Demonstrate product functionality and clearly communicate the value of ADS solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with property managers, business owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Attend completed installations to ensure customer satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
  • Coordinate with installation, customer service, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Represent ADS professionally at networking events, customer meetings, and community functions.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, and company events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Your Background & Experience

We're looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven ability to develop business and build lasting customer relationships within the electronic security industry.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous outside sales experience within the electronic security, alarm, fire alarm, access control, low-voltage, or integrated systems industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling commercial security solutions and developing new business.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, cold calling, networking, and closing business.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Environment & Travel

This position includes a combination of office work, remote work, customer meetings, networking events, and regular travel throughout the assigned territory. Sales Representatives routinely visit commercial and residential customer locations to conduct consultations and site assessments.
