Role Overview

Future Technologies is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-phase programs focused on private wireless networks, next-generation communications, and emerging technologies.

The Program Manager serves as the central integrator of people, processes, and technology, overseeing programs from concept through deployment and sustainment. This role combines technical leadership, program execution, customer engagement, and business growth support.

You will lead cross-functional teams and subcontractors to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance systems in both CONUS and OCONUS environments while ensuring alignment with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution of multiple concurrent programs involving 5G/private networks, edge computing, AI-enabled systems, and network modernization
  • Manage cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance across programs
  • Establish and maintain program governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, financial plans, and resource strategies


Technical & Systems Integration Oversight

  • Provide leadership across system-of-systems integration, including RF, transport, core, edge, and application layers
  • Oversee engineering design, deployment, testing, optimization, and sustainment
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, information assurance, resiliency, and performance
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders


Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
  • Lead executive briefings, program reviews, and technical discussions
  • Interface with government stakeholders, operators, IT teams, and mission users
  • Build trusted relationships that drive repeat business and long-term partnerships


Financial & Contract Management

  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, and profitability
  • Track expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions
  • Support invoicing, financial reporting, and contract compliance
  • Lead onboarding of new contracts and manage contract modifications


Team & Vendor Leadership

  • Direct cross-functional teams including engineering, deployment, and operations
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and OEM partners
  • Ensure alignment of vendor deliverables with program goals
  • Mentor personnel and foster a high-performance, accountable team culture


Digital Transformation & Process Innovation

  • Support and enhance enterprise systems, including ERP integration and program tracking tools
  • Drive adoption of data-driven program management practices
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains


Business Development Support

  • Support capture, proposal development, and technical solutioning for new opportunities
  • Contribute to follow-on work, contract growth, and pipeline development
  • Provide input to pricing, staffing models, and delivery strategies

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with Active DoD Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of program/project management experience in systems integration or telecommunications
  • Demonstrated experience delivering government or DoD programs
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Wireless communications (5G/LTE, RF systems)
  • Network architectures and protocols
  • Systems integration and deployment lifecycle
  • Information assurance and network security
  • Experience managing:
  • Multi-disciplinary technical teams
  • Subcontractors and vendor ecosystems
  • Program financials and contract requirements
  • Proficiency in tools such as:
  • MS Project or equivalent scheduling tools
  • ERP systems and financial tracking tools
  • MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP® certification or equivalent
  • Experience with:
  • Private 5G / CBRS deployments
  • Edge computing and AI-enabled solutions
  • Lab-to-field system transition and operational validation
  • Cloud-native or hybrid network environments
  • Background with major telecommunications OEMs or defense integrators
  • Experience supporting CONUS and OCONUS deployments (including Indo-Pacific)
