Agronomy Intern

Salary Range $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly Position Type Internship

Description

Job objective:

The agronomy intern will be responsible for assisting, coordinating and execution of all agronomy related activities designated by their supervisor to provide NuWay-K&H Cooperative's products and services in the most efficient and professional manner to increase NuWay-K&H Cooperative's brand market share and company profitability.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in day-to-day operations as assigned by the supervisor.
  • General services such as soil, tissue and nitrate sampling.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulation agencies.
  • Comply with NuWay-K&H Cooperative's safety policies.
  • Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, protect and develop the cooperative's brands via ethical activities and intellectual property management.
  • Continuous improvement through self-development and educational training.
  • Attend all training sessions required by law and NuWay-K&H Cooperative
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as appropriate and assigned.
