Centra Sota Cooperative is seeking an Agronomy Assistant Operations Manager to help lead daily agronomy operations while supporting employees, equipment, inventory, and customer service. We are seeking an Agronomy Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. This role partners with the Agronomy Operations Manager to support daily operations, employee development, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and customer service while promoting a safe and productive work environment.


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Assist with overseeing daily agronomy operations, including inventory, blending, dispatch, deliveries, and equipment utilization.
  • Assist with coordinating daily work assignments, employee schedules, and operational priorities.
  • Assist with supporting employee training, coaching, onboarding, and performance development.
  • Operate agronomy equipment and assist with field, warehouse, and shop operations as needed.
  • Partner with the Agronomy Operations Manager, sales team, and customers to deliver exceptional service and continuously improve operations.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience in agronomy, agriculture operations, or a related field with demonstrated leadership experience or potential.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating agronomy equipment and working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to coach employees, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and support daily operations.
  • Valid driver's license required. Class A CDL and Commercial Applicator License preferred or the ability to obtain.
  • Experience with AgVance or similar agronomy software is preferred.
