JOB SUMMARY: (One paragraph summary of why position exists)


Managing deployments of technology including final installation and validation
Supporting the underlying portfolio of projects within the program/department
Defining, analyzing and documenting business requirements as well as manage requirements at the project level in order to fulfill business needs
Supporting the vision and strategy for the initiative based on input from multiple stakeholders
Collaborating with and working with key partners - both internally and externally - on definition & implementation
Contributing to the development of business cases for projects
Assisting with the communication of the strategy, projects status, and overall progress for the program
Executing and delivering on the program objectives
Compiling data and assisting with analysis to optimize programs and determine results
Maintaining a good understanding of the technologies both available and coming in the future
This role will need to have a diverse background & competency in overall project management, program management, and business analysis. The resource will need to be able to effectively communicate - both written and orally - in internal & external settings and at senior leadership levels. Further, the resource will need to have a strong technology background to effectively communicate about the technologies, features and functionality that may be deployed and to communicate with the internal and external partners who support the deployments. In addition to managing deployments, this role will also have responsibility for day-to-day management of project team and/or vendor technical resources.




ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (5-7 primary responsibilities that position is held responsible for)
Managing project scope, acceptance, installation and deployment from a business and customer experience perspective (non-technical rollout management)
Creating turnkey installation guides so other resources can assist/drive installations under your direction
Managing and supporting the underlying innovation projects throughout their lifecycle, including:
- Managing project plans for pilots, proof-of-concepts, and tests
- Aiding in tasks that support resource and budget management for projects
- Reporting on key pilot performance metrics
- Managing project documentation
- Executing RFP/RFQ in collaboration with Sourcing Department
Outlining requirements for training employees; Assisting with or leading employee training sessions
Liaise with IT Business/Requirements Analyst, Project Manager and other key project members
Keeping abreast of key trends and technologies through research, networking, etc. 
Conducting performance reviews for self and peers, as well as ongoing assessment of strengths and weaknesses
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: (Education and experience both required and/or preferred)
7-10 years business experience, with 5 or more in technology, marketing or program management
Trained in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong consulting skills with the ability to advise and make recommendations, provide assistance or help with planning from a basis of personal expertise & influence where no formal or direct reporting relationship exists
Willingness & ability to work at a strategic level in designing overall concepts & vision as well as at a tactical level in assessing new technologies and designing detailed requirement specifications and test cases
Ability to assess and validate their activities
Ability to determine if the solution has fulfilled the requirements
Ability to use sophisticated methods, metrics and tools to achieve the business benefits and corporate goals
Ability to speak to small audiences with ease, with the ability to influence others in both positive and negative circumstances and produce the best outcome
Strong written communication and presentation skills
Ability to create an environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Flexibility and ability to quickly and effectively respond to changing business environment
Track record of managing projects on an on-time, on-target, on-budget basis
Creative and able to comfortably deal with ambiguity
Undergraduate degree required
Must be able to live in Las Vegas and be willing & able to travel as needed
