We are recruiting for an experienced insurance professional to join our agency team and help drive continued team development and agency growth. This role is based in Davenport, Iowa.Role SummaryThe Agency Manager is responsible for supporting team development, leading sales and service, and overseeing the daily operations of the agency. This role requires a strategic thinker who will partner closely with agency leadership, producers, support staff, carrier representatives, and credit union teams to expand member awareness of insurance solutions while helping members protect what matters most.Key Responsibilities:Support, develop and coach the team to exceptional service standards and agency goals.Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-focused workplace culture. Manage day to day operations of the agency. Responsible for operational procedures, documentation and quality control.Recruit, hire, train, and mentor new team members. Partner with credit union teams to create a seamless member experience and promote awareness of insurance services.Monitor agency performance and implement improvements to increase productivity and profitability.Maintain strong carrier relationships and stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, market changes, and compliance expectations.Develop and grow new and existing member relationships through consultative insurance sales and service.Provide exceptional service to members adhering to agency SLAs.Accurately document member interactions, quotes, policy activity, and follow-up items in agency systems.Follow all applicable state insurance laws, carrier requirements, internal procedures, and E&O risk management practices.Required Qualifications/Skills:Minimum of five years of insurance sales and service experience.Active insurance license required, or ability to obtain and maintain required licensing within the established timeframe.Strong understanding of insurance products, coverage options, carrier guidelines, and agency operations.Demonstrated ability to grow relationships, generate referrals, and meet production or growth goals.Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.Ability to explain coverage options clearly and professionally to members with varying insurance knowledge.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records while managing multiple priorities.Commitment to providing world-class service and supporting IHMVCU's Pathfinder culture. Being a team member of Members Insurance is more than just a job; we want to make differences in the communities we live in and serve.
