Hours: Part-time, weekdays (typically 2:00pm–6:00pm) during the school year

About Us:
At Building and Growing LLC, we provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children after school. Our mission is to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through creative programming and caring mentorship.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and caring After-School Counselor to join our team. The counselor will supervise, guide, and inspire students through daily activities, homework help, enrichment workshops, and recreational play.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of students at all times
Lead group activities, games, and enrichment projects
Help students with homework and support academic growth
Model positive behavior and build healthy relationships with students
Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and program leadership
Assist in planning and organizing special events or field trips
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Experience working with school aged children
Positive attitude, creativity, and strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a dynamic environment
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Background clearance as required by state and program policies
