Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project timelines to meet high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment with aerospace regulations.
- Author, update, and review work instructions and documentation packages.
- Educate and train engineers and technicians on tooling and process developments.
- Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic systems, analyzing performance data for improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and testing engineering issues.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure system reliability.
- Design hydraulic systems and components for aircraft applications.
- Maintain thorough work records in line with MAA practices and directives.
- Provide technical expertise and lead efforts in troubleshooting non-conforming hydraulics issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5+ years of recent aerospace engineering experience focused on hydraulic systems.
- Proven experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural assemblies.
- Strong understanding of aerospace regulations and industry standards.
- Experience with simulation and automation testing, 3D CAD, and data reduction tools.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to interpret technical data and an excellent problem-solver.
- Hands-on capability, comfortable with physical tasks including standing and bending.
