Job description

 Shift: Days with Hybrid schedule - 3 onsite, 2 remote 


Primary responsibilities include:

•Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates.

•Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.

•Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project.

•Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.

•Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

•Contain scope growth though robust baseline change management. •Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.

•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications


YOU MUST HAVE

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field

•Minimum 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles in the Aerospace industry

•Must be a US person for export control work.

•Previous experience developing commercial or military avionics systems like Military/Commercial TCAS or ADS-B Transponder

•Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

•Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).

•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities •Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

•Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

•Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.

•Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

•Willingness to travel to customer and internal meetings both domestic and international.

•Advanced degree preferred.
