A Fortune 100 aerospace giant hiring Project engineers in Phoenix, AZ who will be responsible to lead several project related to fielded auxiliary power unit (APU) changes and will also be responsible for activities related to field issue resolution, production issues and producibility issues.

NOTE: Entry level candidates with 2-5 years of significant experience related to gas turbine propulsion system and willing to relocate are welcome to apply!!!

Client :        Fortune 100 aerospace giant

Title :           Project Engineer

Location :    Phoenix, AZ 85034

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a plan to design, test and qualify revised designs for fielded APU products.

Meet the technical performance measures (TPMs) for the revised designs including weight, recurring cost, life/reliability and performance.

Meet the schedule and budget constraints including CAM responsibilities.

Support the overall APU design effort to meet system level TPMs.

Exercise project management skills including planning, estimating and scheduling.

Prepare and conduct project status and presentations for leadership and external customers.


Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

 Strong understanding of gas turbine engine design and technology, founded on a command of engineering fundamentals.

 Experience with the APU design and development.

 Experience working with large ATR customers.
