  • Use automatic and manual measuring techniques to capture and document dimensional data.
  • Establish measurement tolerances using accepted industry practices and review of next higher assembly fit.
  • Create, revise, and review designs using CAD software, materials science considerations, metrology plans, and related engineering inputs.
  • Prepare documentation required for regulatory certification, including transmittal letters, certification plans, test plans, and substantiation reports.
  • Research technical requirements and collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate, select, and adapt procedures for design changes and problem resolution.
  • Review aircraft instructions and other aviation technical information for continued airworthiness to define and adapt project requirements.
  • Support supply chain development of manufacturing methods and processes, including vendor identification and selection, purchasing requirements, and drawing interpretation.
  • Provide engineering support for quality-related questions involving drawing interpretation, manufacturing inspection methods, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate First Article and project conformity inspection activities across Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, FAA representatives, and management.
  • Participate in root cause corrective action and preventive action initiatives.
  • Prepare technical packages according to customer or operator requirements.

What Weโ€™re Looking For
