Job description

Summary

The Amazon Advertising Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day hands on management of the advertising spend for Amazon. They will be responsible for driving efficiency on current spending and building out product launch campaigns for new products. They will be responsible for executing on the budget and forecast of advertising dollars. They will run reports on and analysis of historical data on a campaign and keyword level. They will be responsible for weekly performance reporting to Brand Managers and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Amazon advertising platform and brings a strong analytical background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be able to get granular on Amazon advertising campaigns and execute on strategy.
  • Analyze and understand the unique e-commerce and consumer behavior trends to tailor strategies for each marketplace.Build and continue to adjust customer avatarsfor advertising targeting cross-functionally with the help of Brand Managers.
  • Define and track advertising relevancy metrics to assess performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Maintain strong optimization routine and structure utilizing Scale Insights and other relevant tools to hit weekly and monthly TACOS, ACOS, and PPC revenue targets.
  • Manage global advertising budget, ensuring efficient allocation to maximize ROI while maintaining budget discipline.
  • Run historical reports and create analysis for Amazon, Walmart, andTikTok Shopsales and advertising spend.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in digital, business, marketing, or finance (with a bias to analysis) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience of the Amazon.com seller platform.
  • Experience navigating and using PPCsoftware; preferably Scale Insights or similar.
  • Experience with analytics and running reports that are shared with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with planning, budgeting, andexecutingadvertisingstrategyfor product launches.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding ofAmazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising.
  • AdvancedExcelSkillsโ€“ create formulas, pivottables,charts and graphs.
  • Advanced PPC/Advertising Software: Be able tomaneuverand manipulate campaigns and get granular to the keyword level of bid adjustments and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Scale Insights is preferred.
  • Advanced Critical Thinking: Be able to make decisions and adjustments with minimal direction.
  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
