Our mission extends beyond the insurance and annuities policies that we offer. We strive to make the world a better place through our grants from our charitable foundation, paid volunteer time for our employees, environmentally sustainable and healthy workplaces, and events that promote the work of nonprofits in our own backyard.
We foster a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and encourage our associates to live our values: Do good. Be good. Make good.
Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
In this role, you will work with the Advanced Markets team to support independent and affiliated agents in their work with high income and high net worth individuals as well as business owner clients. • Help identify advanced market planning concepts tied to the use of our life and annuity products and work with the team to assure smooth adoption of new and existing concepts.
  • Understand and communicate complex advanced markets concepts in simple, easy to understand terms.
  • Work with distribution leaders to pro-actively reach out to agents and sales organizations to conduct marketing and training programs. Conduct agent training sessions, via webinars, home office visits or in the field.
  • Stay on top of new product and tax developments and help identify new sales opportunities.
  • Travel 20% (when permitted).

Job Requirements
  • Knowledge of key advanced market concepts and willing to learn others.
  • Excellent people, presentation and communication skills. A demonstrated ability to help build out sales and marketing presentations and to synthesize complex topics in a compelling and visual manner.
  • Collaborate with distribution leaders, field leaders, wholesalers and agency partners to promote our key advanced market strategies
  • Understand life insurance and annuity products. A plus if there is an understanding of NLG products and illustration software.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Master, over time, various advanced markets case design software, including qualified plan systems.

Preferred Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CLU, ChFC, CFP, MBA, CPA or other advanced industry recognized designation preferred
  • Experience in the life insurance and annuity business
  • Experience with Advanced Markets concepts
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the financial services business
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check that may include fingerprinting
