Job Description:

  • The Data Entry Specialist - Timekeeping is responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and auditing employee time and attendance records.
  • This role ensures payroll data integrity by processing timesheets, resolving discrepancies, and supporting compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input leave balances into the timekeeping system
  • Review and validate timekeeping data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies
  • Communicate with employees, supervisors, and HR/payroll teams to correct and clarify time entries
  • Maintain up-to-date records of attendance, and absence
  • Generate and distribute timekeeping and attendance reports as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information
  • Follow established procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years of data entry, payroll, or timekeeping experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
  • Familiarity with timekeeping or payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos, ADP, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and labor laws is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred)
