Job description

Cyber Security Training Manager:
Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a Cybersecurity training curriculum.
This includes:
  • Creating playlists within the GDIT Learning Management System, that contain training, curated from
  • both internal and external reference sources.
  • Finding gaps in required training topics and researching, identifying, and recommending training to cover those gaps.
  • Tracking and reporting training metrics for all personnel on contract. This includes content delivery
  • but also Certification tracking to support the program requirements.
  • Developing and coordinating the development of new training that can be internally hosted on LMS.
  • Assisting the program with training related activities, supporting budget planning for training, etc.
  • Identifying and sharing training related materials with customers, where possible.
  • Reviewing and recommending improvements to existing On-the-Job training procedures that work to improve the performance of the overall program.
  • Identifying future training needs and incorporating into existing curriculum.

LEVEL 4:
  • Skills and Tasks: Exceptionally Complex, Inter-Discipline, Inter-Organizational. Can perform tasks of senior level technicians, specialists, and or managers not performed at Level 3 due to the size and/or complexity of the tasks.
  • Leadership/Management: May work individually or as a key member of a senior leadership team. Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.
  • Guidance: Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers. Directs multiple contractor and subcontractor teams through to project completion.

Preferred Skills:
  • Candidate should have strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Micro-Learning techniques and platforms/media like: Sharepoint, Youtube, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop or comparable graphics program, Podcasts (Apple, Google, etc mobile stores), Video content creation, Audio content creation, and Image content creation
  • Candidate should have experience creating training content, training curriculum, etc.
  • Candidate should have experience collecting metrics associated with training delivery.

  • HS/GED + 12 years
  • Associates Degree + 10 years
  • Bachelors Degree + 8 years
  • Masters Degree + 6 years
  • PhD + 4 years

Training and Certifications:
  • IAT Level II
