Admissions Representative
Location: Cedarhurst Office
Brief:
The Center for Allied Health Education (CAHE) is seeking an Admissions Representative to support the Admissions Department with increasing lead volume and prospective student engagement. This role will focus heavily on lead follow-up, applicant communication, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment.
This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport with prospective students over the phone and through virtual meetings. Due to the nature of the role and admissions coverage needs, flexibility for late hours is required. Hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct timely and consistent follow-up with prospective students and inbound leads.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Provide detailed information regarding CAHE programs, admissions requirements, and enrollment procedures.
  • Schedule and conduct Microsoft Teams meetings with prospective students to review program details and answer questions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with applicants throughout the admissions process.
  • Accurately document interactions and manage lead activity within internal systems.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to support enrollment goals and improve applicant experience.
  • Perform additional administrative and admissions-related tasks as needed.

Experience:
  • Prior experience in admissions, recruiting, customer service, sales, or a student-facing role preferred.

Education:
  • Some college coursework required; degree preferred.

Skillsets:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong phone presence and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable conducting virtual meetings and presentations.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate evening or late-hour lead engagement.
