Requisition Title: Administrative Services Assistant – Memphis, TN
Number of Openings: 10
Estimated Duration: June 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Pay Rate: $12/hour (W2)

Position Summary

Under general supervision, this role involves providing professional administrative support of routine to moderate complexity to assist executives by managing administrative tasks and responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Relieve executive staff of administrative duties that do not require their direct attention.

  • Serve as a liaison between the executive’s office and the Governor’s office, departmental staff, state and federal agencies, and community organizations.

  • Respond to inquiries and handle communications from legislators, public agencies, citizens, and employees.

  • Attend official functions, legislative meetings, and public events as needed.

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate assigned clerical staff and make recommendations on hiring, promotions, or other personnel decisions.

  • Draft routine and non-routine correspondence and manage document routing.

  • Gather information for meetings, speeches, and staff communications; may take meeting minutes.

  • Make travel arrangements, manage expense reporting, and maintain supply inventories.

  • Operate standard office equipment as required.
