Role Overview:

Are you an administrative professional that enjoys building relationships with internal and external customers, who can exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, has strong organizational skills and can communicate well with all levels of management? If you answered "yes," then RTX BBN wants to hear from you. BBN's Collaborative Administration Group, called POST (Professional Office Support Team) has an opening for a Full time Administrative Associate who will provide administrative support for professional, technical and engineering co-workers at various levels. This is an on-site role, located in Arlington, Virginia.
What You Will Do:
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Unit (BU) group's senior leader and employees who are primarily located or assigned to the BU in BBNs Arlington, VA office.
  • Collaborate and support all other administrative teams within the organization when necessary.
  • Maintain senior leader calendar for meetings, events, vacation, and travel.
  • Answer routine questions on policies and procedures as it relates to the administrative performance, including expense reporting, group meals, etc.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and functions, including arranging for visitors and ordering catered food.
  • Assist in meetings - drive slides or other material for zoom and/or in-person formats.
  • Create and process trip/expense reports for leader and staff, and vendor check reimbursements.
  • Maintain log and track ongoing and outstanding travel claims.
  • Arrange/assist with travel reservations and process expense reports.
  • Coordinate with TA staff and or managers on interview schedules.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding requirements for Business Unit employees in Rosslyn, as needed.
  • Coordinate, assist and potentially generate export paperwork requirements as necessary.
  • Assist Facilities in coordinating office moves within the Business Unit when required.
  • Assist in maintaining company document repositories.
  • Order office supplies and maintain stock.
  • Coordinate and participate with other administrators across the business to build rapport and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Provide support, guidance and input on evolving business changes, process improvements and the like.
  • Assist Communications to track support tickets to include managing the company store relationship for Business Unit or Rosslyn staff.
  • Support government property inventory barcoding, tracking, and periodic audits.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

The salary range for this role is 58,400 USD - 111,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
