Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Pay Range: Starting at $20 per hour, based on experience

About Current Electrical Services:

Current Electrical Services is a commercial electrical contractor based in De Pere, Wisconsin, serving customers throughout Northeast Wisconsin. We take great pride in the quality of our work, how we treat our customers, and the culture we have built within our team. We are looking for an on-site Administrative Assistant to join our office team and help support our employees, customers, and daily operations.

Job Summary: As our Administrative Assistant, you will be an important part of our office team and often one of the first people our customers speak with. Providing a positive customer experience will be an important part of your role, along with supporting our office and field teams and communicating with vendors. You will support the day-to-day needs of the office, communicate with our field team, and help keep details organized. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner.
  • Monitor incoming mail and deliveries and distribute to the appropriate personnel or project.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars.
  • Process product returns, including preparing return documentation, packaging items, and communicating with vendors or shipping carriers as needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field personnel to support project documentation and administrative needs.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in company software, including customer, vendor, and project information.
  • Support invoicing, timesheet collection, and other administrative accounting functions as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, customer, and project information.
  • Perform other administrative duties assigned to support office and field operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Approachable, helpful, and able to work well with office and field employees.
