Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is focused on delivering flexible, local rental solutions to a wide range of customers outside of our airport hubs. We’re hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.
The starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Sales & Customer Service:
    • Support achievement of location sales goals.
    • Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
    • Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
  • Operations & Fleet Management:
    • Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
    • Assist with store operations and compliance.
  • Vehicle and Facility Care:
    • Support team with miscellaneous task including but not limited to cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers, lot management, and customer service assistance.
  • Finance & Administration: 
    • Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
    • Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
  • Leadership Development:
    • Shadow and support management in daily operations.
    • Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
    • Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training.
    • Learn how role contributes to/impacts the overall financial wellbeing of the company.

  • Must be 20 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong computer and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
