Job description

If you're ready to begin your career in a role all about driving organizational initiatives within our Strategy & Operations, we would love to meet you!

We are seeking a dynamic and growth-minded individual to join us in the role of MBA Full Time Associate. You'll play a key role on our Strategy & Operations team, leading cross-functional initiatives, ambiguous projects, and ambitious goals.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity based at our Dallas headquarters (The Link, 2601 Olive Street). Join a team where talented people, data-driven insights, and continuous innovation come together to shape the future of digital commerce.

A Day in the Life of this Role at Momentum

We match each MBA Associate to the area of the business where their background, strengths, and our current needs align. The two areas we're building into:

  • Strategy & Operations - Work at the center of how Momentum thinks and operates. Partner directly with senior leadership to shape and drive the firm's highest-priority initiatives by translating strategy into execution across the portfolio, building the frameworks that guide decision-making, and owning cross-functional workstreams from kickoff through delivery. This is best for someone who can move fluidly between big-picture thinking and getting things done.
  • Business Transformation - Join the team leading Momentum's AI agenda. Tackle a prioritized backlog of automation and process improvement initiatives, design AI-powered workflows, and help the business figure out what's worth building and what's worth buying.

In Either of These Roles, You Can Expect To:

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, delivering measurable business impact.
  • Analyze data, develop business cases, and present actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Design scalable processes, AI-powered solutions, and automation workflows that improve operational efficiency.
  • Own project plans, timelines, risks, and milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, communications, and materials that support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Momentum and our portfolio companies to drive alignment and execution.
  • Contribute to enterprise transformation initiatives while continuously expanding your business acumen and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Will graduate in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 from a full time MBA program
  • Has hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to solve real business problems and naturally incorporates AI into their daily workflow while staying current with emerging technologies.
  • Has approximately 2+ years of relevant full time experience
  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and business recommendations.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can effectively prioritize competing initiatives while maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively across diverse teams, influencing outcomes without relying on formal authority.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with Google Workspace. Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI), project management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday.com), SQL, Python, or automation platforms (Power Automate, Zapier, Make, n8n) is a plus.
  • Demonstrates strong business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
  • Embraces continuous learning, adapts quickly to change, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of how Momentum operates.
