Classification: Full-time or part-time, nonexempt
Reports to: Partners and Managers
Summary of Responsibilities
Administrative Staff includes assistants, secretaries, associates, and executive assistants who perform a varietyย 
of clerical and administrative tasks, fill in for the receptionist when necessary, and present a professional imageย 
of the Firm to callers and visitors.
Essential Functions
1. Answers telephones.
2. Receives and transmits telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly, using the
telephone, telephone message pads, fax machine, copy machine, scanners, and personal computer.
3. Maintain good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
4. Type correspondence accurately and timely using appropriate software.
5. Process filings for client tax returns.
6. Assemble financial statements.
7. Understand and maintain the paperless office system.
8. Maintain office supplies inventory.
Other Functions
9. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by partners and professional staff.
Working Conditions
โ€ข Involves in-office work, performing various tasks concurrently.
โ€ข Occasional overtime hours are required.
Qualifications/Experience
โ€ข Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
โ€ข Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system with six incoming lines.
