Job description

We're looking to hire an Administrative Assistant. Our motto is Have Fun, Make Money, Make a Difference.

Job Overview:
Greatland Financial is a life insurance agency helping families across the country with mortgage protection, final expense, retirement protection, and Medicare planning. We're looking for an organized, personable Administrative Assistant to help keep our office running smoothly, support our clients with a warm, professional touch, and help coordinate our team at company events throughout the year.

Duties:

  • Handle day-to-day administrative duties and general office upkeep
  • Provide customer and client service, including responding to inquiries
  • File, organize, and maintain client records and documents
  • Draft correspondence and help prepare paperwork
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
  • Make recruiting calls to prospective agents/candidates as needed
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments
  • Attend 4 out of state company events per year to provide on-site support
  • Coordinate team meals during events
  • Handle errands and manage vehicles/transportation for the team
  • Book and set up travel arrangements as needed
  • Write cards and handle customer care touches
  • Shopping for office and event needs

Experience:

  • 6 months to 2 years of administrative experience preferred; insurance office experience a plus but not required
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficiency with MS Office and general office software
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with clients and the public
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with phone-based outreach
