Thank you for taking the time to show interest in providing care to The Residents/Tenants of the Senior Suites of Urbandale family. We are a Residential /Assisted living community that will provide you with the opportunity to work in a family-like environment and grow as you enrich the lives of our Seniors. We are currently in need of part-time Certified Medication Aides( CMAS). Full time could be a possibility- At Senior Suites of Urbandale, WHERE YOUR STORY MATTERS. We are in need of evening ( 2p-10:30p) and overnight ( 10p- 6:30a). A part time day CMA position is available as well.

Your day-to-day:
  • Ensure residents receive medications/treatments as prescribed by their physician and follow the 6 rights of medication administration.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Effectively interact with residents with dementia.
  • Participate in resident activities.
  • Lead your shift with the leadership and direction of the RN, DON.
  • Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents.

Requirements:
  • Medication Aide (CMA) - MUST HAVE MEDICATION AIDE CERTIFICATE.
  • CPR and First Aid certification. If uncertified, may obtain certification upon hire.
  • High School diploma/GED or one-year related experience.
