Phasor Engineering LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Administrator / Coordinator to join our team and help drive a culture of safety excellence across our U.S. operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our workforce by implementing and overseeing Phasor Engineering and Quanta Services safety programs, supporting compliance with all applicable U.S. federal, state, and client-specific safety standards, and assisting the HR Team in a variety of functions.

Roles & Responsibilities

HSE Documentation & Systems

Review, update, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs

Maintain working knowledge of applicable OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, DOT, and other regulatory and administrative requirements

Manage and organize employee safety documentation in accordance with company and client standards

Maintain accurate digital safety records and documentation systems

Incident Management & Claims

Lead and support incident investigations from initiation through close-out

Coordinate with HR and operations teams to manage workers' compensation claims, injury management, and return-to-work programs

Track, analyze, and report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts/conditions, and corrective actions

Identify trends and implement improvement plans to reduce incidents and injuries

Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up

Project & Field Safety

Participate in pre-job hazard assessments and develop project HSE documentation (JHAs, JSAs, Site Safety Plans, Energized Work Permits, etc.)

Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, site inspections, and field-level hazard assessments

Monitor completion and quality of inspections, assessments, and review cycles

Develop site-specific safe work procedures and controls as required

Support field crews and project managers in implementing company safety standards and client expectations

Training & Workforce Development

Assign, track, and manage safety training, JSAs, SWPs, and forms through SiteDocs or other safety management systems

Support onboarding safety documentation and orientation requirements

Ensure employee training compliance with OSHA, company, and client requirements

Proactively communicate training status, renewals, expirations, and deficiencies

Coordinate and support safety meetings, drills, and awareness initiatives

Corporate Compliance & Reporting

Support and participate in compliance audits and regulatory inspections

Maintain HSE metrics, reports, dashboards, and statistical tracking

Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information

Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate safety requirements

Support ISNetworld, Avetta, DISA, PEC/Safeland, and other contractor prequalification systems

Requirements

Required Experience & Certifications

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required

Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), CHST, or equivalent designation considered an asset

Minimum 4+ years of experience in a health and safety role

Experience working in the utility, electrical, transmission, distribution, or construction industry preferred

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, standards, and compliance requirements

Experience with DOT/FMCSA compliance programs considered an asset

Experience using client compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, DISA, PEC/Safeland, or ComplyWorks

CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites as required
