Adjunct Nutrition Professor Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Pay Range:  AJCR $1,262-$1,404 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Biology Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in The Science of Human Nutrition. One section will be taught face-to-face during the day, and one section will be taught as an evening class. All applications must be be submitted to the JCCC jobs portal.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology, with emphasis on nutrition or nutrition-related field.
• Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically.
• Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software.
• Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications.
• Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in human anatomy and physiology.
• One year of College-level teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer applicant to be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
