In addition, it sells its products under brand names licensed to the company, including adidas, Wolford, Wilson, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger and others.
Role Overview
The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing the critical path for production to ensure it meets customer requirements, with a strong focus on supporting key retail partners. This role will drive sourcing strategy, margin management, and on-time delivery while ensuring compliance with retailer standards, quality expectations, and operational requirements specific to large-volume programs.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Senior Director, Production on sourcing strategy, production planning, and target costing
  • Ensure production is placed with factories in a timely manner and in accordance with Time and Action calendars, meeting delivery windows, and compliance standards.
  • Manage Time & Action calendars; ensure timely delivery of all components (fabric, trim, packaging, etc.) in accordance with T&A and milestone requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost components and ability to drive margin, particularly within high-volume, cost-sensitive retail programs.
  • Partners with Offshore Merchandising and QA teams to ensure quality of product from start of production through shipping
  • Communicate with mills and factories on seasonal projections; negotiate key delivery dates and generic TNAs early in the season to ensure proper planning and staging of programs.
  • Responsible for staging materials, order placement, and delivery confirmation with Mill and Factories
  • Responsible for leading cross-functional efforts to complete the approval process from completed BOM handoff from design, for color and components approvals, technical follow up, fit approvals, pre-production, testing and TOP approvals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve product approval issues, ensuring retailer readiness.
  • Oversee the full production process from development to order placement through final delivery, ensuring compliance with routing, labeling, packaging, and vendor guidelines.
  • Partner closely with Merchandising and Design to ensure all development calendars with multiple overlapping seasons are maintained and all deadlines are met.
  • Leverage solid fabric knowledge, garment construction expertise, and understanding of finishes to ensure product meets both brand and retailer standards.
  • Oversees the timely update of POs in the system. Enforces the practice of timely bookings by factories, and responsible for the approval of correct vessel schedules, in line with customer deliveries.
  • Work closely with the design, sales, ESG, and marketing teams to align production with company goals and market demands.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the apparel industry specifically in production and/or product development
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Ideally proficient on intimates, sleepwear costing for ladies & men's
  • Walmart experience needed for order planning and testing
  • Direct experience managing production or other large-scale retailers required
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements, testing standards, packaging, labeling, routing guides, and delivery expectations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, testing, and quality control
  • Exceptionally strong problem-solving and negotiation skills with factories and material suppliers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, New Jersey office.
PAY RATE: $120,000/yr-$140,000/yr
