Adaptive Solutions Group is partnering with a respected law firm in Dallas, TX, to identify an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through every stage of the litigation process.


This role offers long-term career growth, a team-oriented culture, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Commercial Litigation attorneys while playing a key role in client service, matter management, and legal operations.


Litigation Legal Assistant


What You'll Do:

As a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant, you will serve as the primary support partner for assigned attorneys by managing workflows, coordinating legal matters, and ensuring high-quality administrative and litigation support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of attorney workflow, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Coordinate state and federal court filings, including e-filing.
  • Process new client and matter intake, conflict checks, and file openings.
  • Assist with billing, time entry, matter budgets, and collections coordination.
  • Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and scheduling.
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal departments.
  • Organize and maintain legal documents and matter files.
  • Monitor project timelines and communicate status updates.
  • Partner with support team members to ensure timely completion of work and provide coverage when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and workflow efficiencies.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of executive or administrative support experience in a professional services environment.
  • 3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably supporting Commercial Litigation.
  • Experience with state and federal court e-filing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Adobe Acrobat experience.
