KBR's Army PBL program is a comprehensive logistics initiative aimed at enhancing the operational readiness of the U.S. Army while minimizing total ownership costs. Through a performance-based approach, KBR provides maintenance, supply chain management, technical support, training, and documentation services. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance, efficient supply chain operations, and expert technical assistance. By leveraging advanced analytics and monitoring tools, KBR ensures proactive maintenance and optimization of equipment performance. The program's focus on tailored support enhances the reliability, availability, and effectiveness of Army equipment, ultimately contributing to mission success and military readiness.
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team at KBR, where we're currently hiring an entry-level candidate to join our order fulfillment team based at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) facility in Anniston, AL. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a key role in material handling for our overhaul operations on the AGT1500 turbine engine. Collaborate with fellow team members, management, and clients to ensure seamless operations. If you're ready to kickstart your career with us, apply now!
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Execute various warehousing tasks with proficiency, adhering to the establishment's storage protocols.
  • Handle materials throughout the planning, receipt, storage, and issuance phases in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Utilize appropriate methods to store, stack, or palletize materials as per storage guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic inventory checks, identify any material deterioration, or damage, and promptly report findings.
  • Prepare materials for orders or shipment by retrieving them from storage and ensuring proper packaging.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment.
  • Be prepared for heavy lifting duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • US citizenship
  • Must have a valid social security card, driver's license, and birth certificate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Prior material handling experience

Potential Work Schedule
Hours of operations Mon-Thur 06:30am-6:00pm (additional hours from 4:00pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work). Fridays 06:30am - 6:00pm (additional hours from 3:00pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work), and all Saturdays 06:00am-6:00pm (additional hours from 2:30pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work). Subject to change based on contract/client requirements.
