Job Summary

- Monitor and detect potential fraud activities through rigorous fraud prevention and detection techniques, safeguarding client assets and data.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations such as securities law, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and industry-specific standards by implementing appropriate controls and reporting procedures.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis using Excel data analysis tools like pivot tables and spreadsheets to support investment decision-making and operational reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams on business operations, accounting, regulatory reporting, and client communication to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Manage internal communication channels effectively to ensure clarity across teams regarding trade status, regulatory updates, or procedural changes.
- Utilize financial software, SQL databases, and other technological tools to enhance data accuracy, automate routine tasks, and facilitate industry-standard compliance practices.
Skills
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including fixed income markets, investment management, banking regulations, and financial regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles within the financial services or public accounting sectors.
- Knowledge of securities law, and industry knowledge of financial regulations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel—and advanced spreadsheet skills like pivot tables are required for effective data analysis.
- Experience with financial software systems, trade settlement platforms, and regulatory reporting tools.
- Excellent internal communication skills paired with customer service orientation to support client needs confidently while maintaining professional relationships.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data quickly while adhering to strict compliance standards; strong attention to detail is crucial.
