Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, develop, organize, and implement engaging activity programs tailored to residents' needs.
  2. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapeutic recreation and activities.
  3. Coordinate activities that promote social interaction, cognitive engagement, and physical well-being.
  4. Work closely with residents, families, and staff to assess individual needs and interests.
  5. Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and program effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  1. Must have Recreational Therapy License
  2. Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Activities Professional preferred.
  3. Minimum of two years of experience in a social or recreational program, with at least one year in a therapeutic setting.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work with residents with diverse backgrounds and cognitive abilities.
  6. Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to resident activities in a healthcare setting.
