At LeRoy Village Green Residential Healthcare Facility, we are committed to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our residents. For over 40 years, we have been Western New York's choice for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Activities Leader to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

Activities Leader Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities and programs for residents, including arts and crafts, games, and social events

  • Develop and implement individualized activity plans to meet the unique needs and interests of each resident

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that activities are designed to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being

  • Provide one-on-one and group activities to residents, including outings and events

  • Maintain accurate records and reports of resident participation and activities

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve residents' experiences and outcomes

Activities Leader Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred; related experience in activities or recreational therapy is ideal

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
