We are a busy, high-volume light industrial staffing agency in Akron seeking an energetic Staffing Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-cycle recruiting position where you'll work closely with both job seekers and business clients to fill temp-to-hire positions throughout Northeast Ohio.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit, interview, screen, and onboard candidates for light industrial positions.
  • Match qualified candidates with client job openings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and employees.
  • Conduct phone interviews, reference checks, and employment verifications.
  • Coordinate orientations and new hire paperwork.
  • Manage employee attendance, coaching, counseling, and performance issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and associates.
  • Make outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate applicant and client records in our ATS.
  • Fill open positions quickly while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced office.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of light industrial staffing experience preferred.
  • Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, or sales experience.
  • Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating and helping others succeed.
  • Ability to coach and counsel employees while confidently closing new business with clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
