Job description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $33.00 to $36.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including payment application, account monitoring, and collection efforts.

  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and resolve payment related issues in a professional manner.

  • Review customer agreements and payment terms to ensure accurate billing and collection practices.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection activity, cash receipts, and account status.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer account management roles.

  • Strong understanding of cash application processes and account reconciliation procedures.

  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively and manage short term and long term collection objectives.

  • Experience reviewing contracts, payment terms, and customer billing arrangements.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience within advertising, media, entertainment, manufacturing, or similar industries.
