The Senior Transformation Manager is responsible for achieving the transformation agenda for the assigned organization at T-Mobile, working closely with key business partners across the enterprise and the specific transformation teams. This role leads the team responsible for identifying and launching transformative driven programs to inform, influence, support and execute the end state vision for transformation. The position plays a critical role in scoping key business requirements, designing and documenting the processes, organizational model and service delivery, as well as ensuring the necessary tools are available to support the value case.
The Senior Transformation Manager will play a key role in improving the quality and efficiency of core processes and will collaborate across all major process areas, interacting mostly with the transformation team, key business stakeholders and leaders, and the technology process leads involved in the enterprise project, to effectively communicate how selected innovation will benefit the overall program. Primary responsibilities include discovery of emerging technology, new business and technical capabilities, and innovation partners leading to partner integration and adoption of new processes and technology. This position plays a key role in the evangelizing of transformative technology and processes, operations, data, and governance across all impacted stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Execute on the transformation; implementing short- and long-term enhancements, including the development, documentation, and validation processes. Manage multiple project deliverables including identifying necessary resources and developing a schedule to meet completion deadlines.
  • Partners closely with FP&A, Finance/Accounting, IT, Data Center of Excellence, Product Manager, and System Integrator teams to lead the design, development, testing and deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM as an integrated solution and ensure functional requirements are satisfied
  • An initial focus will be on the analysis and redesign of processes, engaging business stakeholders to understand problem use cases, identify process simplifications and improvements, and work to gain consensus on approach. Identifying and incorporating key data and operational dependencies and risk across the organization. Define the transformation opportunities, roadmap and execution details.
  • Lead a project/program that is responsible for the design, build and delivery of transformational programs with ability to develop implementation plan, design, develop, test and deploy future state capabilities. Influence the adoption of new processes and capabilities by working through business, technology, and finance partners; and provide client focused support to business teams as they adopt new capabilities.
  • Lead a project/program that is responsible to operate and support the platform and systems developed, establish and track KPIs, Cross program alignment and process optimization.
  • Lead a project/program that is responsible for operating & supporting the platform and systems developed by performing application support, establishing and tracking KPIs, cross program alignment & enterprise process optimization.
  • Create and execute upon sustainable transition plan.

  • Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration / Computer Science (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree (Preferred)
  • 7-10 years - Knowledge of key business processes along with strong analytical skills.
  • 4-7 years - Experience in owning, managing and delivering large transformation projects.
  • 7-10 years - Progressive cross-functional leadership experience in setting technology strategy, software development, engineering and operations.
  • 4-7 years - Management consulting experience in strategy, finance, operations, risk management, and systems integration.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (Preferred)
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM or similar financial systems (Required)

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
