Manager, Accounting Transformation
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a newly created Manager, Accounting Transformation, opening with a rapidly growing company that is based in Southfield, Michigan.
Requirements of the Manager, Accounting Transformation
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance required
  • Active CPA license preferred
  • Master s degree in accounting preferred
  • 4+ of progressive financial accounting roles, with Big 4 public accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Experience supporting SOX and related audit requirements

Responsibilities of the Manager, Accounting Transformation
  • Analyze existing accounting and finance processes; identify inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities
  • Implement enhancements of existing processes through effective redesign and remediation of any identified risks
  • Support IPO readiness initiatives, including documentation and control design for future-state processes and controls
  • Own documentation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Lead finance transformation workstreams through standardization of and optimization of financial processes (close optimization, ERP enhancements, reporting redesign)
  • Support implementation and enhancement of finance systems and reporting infrastructure (ERP, close tools, reporting platforms)
  • Support system testing and post implementation reviews for all finance system optimizations
  • Improve data reliability and auditability across financial processes
  • Assist with design and documentation of future state processes and controls
