Job description

Southern 441 Toyota, a fast-growing, customer-focused dealership, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager for our accounting office.

This is a critical role responsible for accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the overall profitability and compliance of the dealership. You will manage daily office operations and financial processes while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and efficiency in a fast-paced automotive environment.

This position is hands-on and results-driven. Success is defined by your ability to deliver accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and operational excellence that directly supports dealership management decisions and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

·                     Assist with and oversee accounting office operations and daily financial processes

·                     Ensure timely and accurate month-end closes, financial statements, and reporting

·                     Maintain strong internal controls, reconciliation processes, and compliance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines

·                     Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions

·                     Work closely with department managers and leadership to provide accurate financial insights and support

·                     Manage cash flow, floor plan, and inventory accounting specific to automotive dealership operations

·                     Prepare and submit required reports for management, owners, and manufacturers

·                     Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed

·                     Track and document all activity and results for performance reporting and accountability

Requirements:

·                     3+ years of Office Manager or similar accounting leadership experience in an automotive dealership environment

·                     Deep understanding of dealership accounting principles

·                     Strong knowledge of general accounting practices, financial reporting, and internal controls

·                     Prior experience with dealership management systems (DMS)

·                     Proven leadership and team development skills

·                     Results-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

·                     High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

·                     Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
