Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist with providing oversight of Company’s regional Finance Departments. Assist with developing and producing financial tools and reports, both routine and special needs, that will collect, disseminate and analyze operational financial data to improve Company identification and correction of problems, and respond to Government requests for financial information. Travel will be required.

SUPERVISION

Assist with providing support to Company’s regional Finance Departments in the absence of Contracts Accounting Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with providing oversight of Center Finance Departments, when needed. This includes support and technical. Review Center financial reconciliations and all financial reports, support Centers on the use of Acumatica and Paycom.
  • Assist with providing support for Corporate Finance Contracts assignments.
  • Provide support with completing and submitting monthly billing (Public Vouchers) to Company and DOL platforms, when needed.
  • Travel to Centers, as required for on-site Center Finance Department assignments, provide specific problem resolution, and for miscellaneous Finance training/support, when applicable.
  • Learn all aspects of Job Corps Center Finance Department systems and tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related business field) required, and 1-plus years’ experience in accounting and/or Finance.  Analytically adept, computer literate with excellent spreadsheet proficiency, and excellent organizational and writing skills required. Experience with Acumatica and Paycom is desired.  Job Corps experience preferred.
