Job description

LP Propane is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for customer service, receptionist, and account processing activities. LP is a local propane distributor servicing residential and commercial customers in Southeast Idaho, Southwest Colorado and Northeast Colorado and has been in business since 1992 and delivers tanks ranging from 100 to 60,000 gallons.

The Customer Service Representative will primarily be focused on:

Processing customer orders

ยท Receive and process propane orders via phone, e-mail or walk-ins.

ยท Relay propane orders to drivers using Microsoft Teams.

ยท Update and correct customer information and account information.

Payment Collection

ยท Collect and enter propane payments for phone and walk-in customers.

ยท Assist customers with billing and account questions

Data Entry

ยท Enter needed information into system to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

ยท Collect, enter, and process new customerโ€™s information and paperwork.

ยท Managing different internal systems

ยท Update and correct data for data accuracy

Additional

ยท Receive and direct visitors and inbound phone calls to correct individuals in the office.

The preferred candidate for the Customer Service Representative will have the following:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
