Currently, our firm is seeking a Accounting Manager with experience in Real Estate and Foreclosure to join our team in our Armonk, NY office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ample opportunities for growth and advancement.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to monitor the finances of our medium sized law practice. Daily, you will record all financial transactions, including cash payments, into the correct general ledger. You will be responsible for maintaining all financial records, completing tax forms, processing payroll, and generating reports. We are seeking a candidate with 5+years’ experience managing an accounting group or similar responsibility.

Duties:

  • Review financial transactions for accuracy
  • Input transactions into correct ledger
  • Reconcile bank and other accounts
  • Make 401K deposits
  • Make deposits and record all cash receipts
  • Pay vendors as they come due
  • Complete required tax forms and furnish accountant with quarterly QuickBooks files
  • Process company Payroll, weekly
  • Onboard new staff into Paychex
  • Oversee and approve ordering of supplies for four offices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, degree in business administration, accounting, or relevant field preferred
  • 5+ years managing an accounting group or similar responsibility
  • Excellent communication and math skills
  • Knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping principles
  • Understand how to balance business accounts
  • Advanced QuickBooks proficiency
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables and V-lookups)
  • Trustworthy with the ability to maintain highest level of integrity and trust
