Job description

Our client, a well-established company is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to start right away!
  • Office Location: White Plains, NY
  • Pay: 21-23/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and data entry support to the Pension Team.
  • Assist with preparing benefit estimates by entering and verifying information in Excel and internal systems.
  • Review employee and pension data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Update and maintain pension records using Excel spreadsheets and company databases.
  • Input, organize, and track financial and participant information.
  • Assist with reviewing pension-related documents and supporting calculations.
  • Perform data validation to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized electronic files and documentation.
  • Support the team with reporting, spreadsheets, and other administrative projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of pension-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
